For many years I have supported a group called Beautiful You By Profile. Their mission is to provide support, comfort, confidence and joy during the difficult time of cancer treatment. Beautiful You by Profile opens its doors the second Monday of each month and dedicates this day to provide complimentary salon services to women and children undergoing cancer treatment. Beautiful You offers full services on this day, including haircuts, scalp treatments, spa services and cosmetics.
The desire at Beautiful You is to nurture the wellness of their clients, the whole person: physically, mentally, and spiritually. They want people to come into the salon as their clients and leave as their friends.
Beautiful You by Profile also provides synthetic wigs at no cost to members of their program.
Once again a generous donor has offered up 2 tickets to the Superbowl! These tickets will be raffled off, with the drawing held at Beautiful You at 4669 Alpine Ave., NW in Comstock Park at 5:00 pm on Friday, January 3rd, 2020. They are selling Raffle tickets for $20 each from now until 10 am on the drawing date
This coming weekend, Beautiful You will be out selling raffle tickets at the Rogue Tavern in downtown Rockford on Friday, December 13th from 6:30-9:30 pm and at Putt Putts bar on Fulton Street in Grand Rapids from 7-9 pm. If you can’t make it to either of those locations, you can alway stop by Beautiful You to buy tickets. Or, you can give them a call at (616) 784-1819.
