It’s Time to Start Podcasting!

I have been thinking about doing this for a long time and I think now is the time to just go ahead and start it. I want to start podcasting!

It wouldn’t be an every day thing, but maybe once or twice a week — at least to start.

And it won’t be on any one topic — but several different topics. From stupid news stories, to travel, food, my crazy experiences, and just life in general. I’d also like to take some stories and dig up more of the background of what the story was really about — or how it came to be. Much like the late Paul Harvey used to do with his “Rest of the Story” daily features. (And trust me, I know that NO one can ever fill Mr. Harvey’s shoes!)

I’ll also make sure it is easily accessible on platforms like iTunes and other podcast directories. It will also be available right here on my blog! (I’ll also include any links, photos, or other materials that are mentioned in the podcast on my blog, so you can easily find things if you are interested.)

I need a catchy title for my podcasts though. “The Scott Winters Podcast” just doesn’t cut it. I have a few ideas, but nothing that really jumps out and says “this is the one”. So, I’m asking for your help. What should I call my podcast? To sweeten the pot a bit, I’ll give a $25 Visa Gift Card to whomever suggests the title I end up using. (If multiple people come up with the same suggestion, I’ll do a random drawing for the winner.)
